Nursing fundamentals transitions from CNA to LVN course
Nursing Fundamentals: Transition from CNA to LVN This foundational course bridges the gap between Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) skills and Licensed Vocational Nursing (LVN) competencies. Students will strengthen their understanding of core nursing principles, including patient safety, infection control, basic anatomy and physiology, ethics, communication, and the nursing process. Through engaging lectures, clinical simulations, and real-world case studies, learners will gain the confidence and knowledge to transition from providing basic patient care to performing entry-level vocational nursing duties. By the end of this course, participants will demonstrate professional readiness, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of their expanded scope of practice as future LVNs in California.
